Ok, let's begin with the right part. ;)
When I came across To all the boys I loved before I though it would be stupid, dull and very trait book. But still, I wanted to make my own opinion. I heard a lot of things about this series on booktube and I was convienced it can't be good at all. I was mistaken.
To all the boys I loved before is the book about Lara Jean who used to write goodbye-letters to the boys whom she loved. She kept them in a hatbox under her bed and didn't want anybody to read it. Once, her letters were send out in some mysterious way and all those boys got their letters. I would say, crappy situation.
When I started reading, I got sucked into the book and I read as much as I only could. Maybe it wasn't anything fancy, or very new, but it had something in it that kept me reading. If I was to describe the whole story it would be lovely. Everything was just lovely. The relationship between the sisters, between daughters and their father, between Lara Jean and Stormy and finally, between her and the boys. I think it's a great read for young girls, because it has so many hidden values in it, loyality, how to deal with problems and many more. It's all about troubles of young girls.
I felt like characters in the books were real. Their troubles were just normal, regular struggles of casual people. They had belieavable emotions and reactions. This is what lacks many of the books.
I've got only one obligation, the story could be stand alone. First book was a little bit too short, it was just cut and left me with the feeling "wait, what happened?". The story from the second book could be just put together with the first book and make up one big story. I think it would be much better option.
On the whole, I really enjoyed the series. It gave me what it was suppose to give, a little bit of relax.
